FUNCTIONS

                                                                                             AT THE ART CLUB HUB

We love celebrating special occasions and what better way to celebrate than a party, with art?! Whether you're celebrating your work Christmas party, a Hen’s Day or a special family birthday, The Art Club Hub has a function perfect for you!

 

Our functions run for 3 hours in total and are hosted by your very own art host/s.

WHAT'S THE FUNCTION STRUCTURE?
 

Guests arrive at the designated time and are invited to put on an art apron and select a pre-designed canvas that they wish to paint from our current selection of approximately 30 designs. Our pre-printed canvasses are simple designs that allow our guests to successfully paint them whether they have years of artistic experience or none. Our art coaches will give guidance to those that feel they need more assistance.

Guests proceed to paint their artwork while enjoying drinks and food that they have brought in or that has been supplied by their host. 

Expect guests to take 2.5 - 3 hours to complete their canvas while enjoying themselves socialising and eating & drinking.

 

*We ask that the function family/host doesn’t arrive more than 10 minutes before the function start time. We’ll have the art room all set up for you. 

 

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN WE HOLD A FUNCTION FOR?

We have space for 50 seated painter’s across two levels, approx. half upstairs in our Sky Studio and half downstairs in our Art Room. We have a minimum of 12 guests for exclusive use of our art studio/s. 

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Our art experience for adult groups (corporate, club and friendship groups) costs $39 per person, inclusive of GST. This price includes exclusive use of our art studio/s. One or more experienced art coache/s (depending on number of guests) who are on hand to give painting guidance and assist with your needs. 

WHAT CAN WE BRING TO EAT AND DRINK?

If your function is for all over 18s then you are most welcome to BYO alcohol or any other non alcoholic beverage. Guests are welcome to provide their own food. Many have chosen to provide grazing platters or bring take-away. Please note that we have limited fridge space and do not have facilities to heat up or keep food warm. We can supply ice buckets for your BYO drinks and plastic cups however we DO NOT supply glassware. You are welcome to bring your own.

 

HOW DO I BOOK?

 

If you are interested in booking an art function, you can book using our Calender link below. Don't see any date/times that suit? We may still be able to accomodate you -please send us a message via our website form or email us directly at theartclubhub@gmail.com with your preferred day, time and expected number of guests. In order for your party day/time to be confirmed we will require a $100 non-refundable deposit to be paid. Full payment must be finalised one week prior to your art function once we confirm the final numbers expected to attend. We will email you at this time to confirm the number of guests and answer any other last minute questions you may have.

WHEN SHOULD I PAY?

WHAT IF A PARTY GUEST HAS FOOD ALLERGIES?
It is your responsibility to make sure that you are aware of whether any of your party guests have any food allergies and cater to that. We have a no NUT policy at The Art Club Hub. 


DO I NEED TO HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE TO PAINT?
No, not at all. Our art functions are aimed at being a beginners level with an emphasis on fun. Guests choose what pre-designed canvas they would like to paint and paint it their way. Art coaches will be on hand to offer advice where needed.


ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED AT OUR FUNCTION?
Absolutely, our functions are personalised to our guests and you may invite the people that you would like to. Our staff are here to help you make your function amazing.


WHAT HAPPENS IF I’M RUNNING LATE?
The painting session will start 10 mins after the ‘start’ time however, if you’re running late, it’s fine. Our art function host can get you up to speed in no time. 


WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
We supply an apron for our guests to wear during the art function but that only covers so much of your clothing. You may want to wear old clothes or clothes that are fine to get paint on. Once dry, acrylic paint does not wash out of clothing.


DO WE HAVE TO COPY THE ARTWORK EXACTLY?
Nope, we love to see people really personalise their artworks with all sorts of variations, different colours, flowers etc. Go for it! We’re so excited to see what you come up with.


WHERE CAN WE PARK?
We are located down near the Peel St end of Bridge Mall. During business hours, guests can park on the street (at a cost) or park for free in either the BIG W carpark or the Supermarkets carpark. After hours guests can park along Peel St and in the Little Bridge Street parks for free. These are the closest parks to our art space. Once the Bridge Mall redevelopment is complete, the middle road will be opened to cars and we will have disabled parking located directly in front of our shop.


*Please note that we want our guests to have a positive, fun and creative experience. Any guests that are behaving in an unruly or unsafe manner and making others uncomfortable will be asked to leave.

FUNCTION CATERING

We do NOT offer catering for your arty functions, they are fully BYO. 

ARTY PARTY INVITATIONS

Arty Party invitations for your party booking can be picked up from The Art Club Hub (80 Bridge Mall, Ballarat Central- during class times or opening hours). If supplying your own invitations, please make it clear that guests should wear clothes that they are ok getting paint on. We supply art aprons but they will not cover all clothing.

We offer a large range of pre-drawn canvases for Arty Functions for you to select from.

All our arty pre-designed canvasses are exclusive to The Art Club Hub and designed by our very own art coaches and printed onsite. 

Parties can either choose to all paint the same canvas design or choose for each guest to select their own design from our current range.
